Overview And Experience
B.Sc. LL.M. (Pune), LL.M. In International Economic Law (Warwick, U.K.)
He is practicing as a lawyer since 1976. He started ‘Avinash Ganu Chambers’ in 1983 and handled litigation in various areas including corporate, contracts, property, Banking, Hindu Law, Mohammedan Law, criminal session cases. He completed his LL.M. with focus on corporate and business Laws from University of Pune.
In the year 1993, Indian economy started opening up. Foreign investment was welcome and due to WTO, Indian laws and approach changed. As a lawyer he thought it was necessary to study in depth the changing legal scenario in India as well as in the world. In 1995-96 he studied at University of Warwick, UK and completed his second LL.M in “International Economic Law” with distinction.
After returning he started a law firm named ‘Avinash Ganu & Associates’ and handled corporate and commercial litigation, arbitrations and also matters related to computer and software laws, Intellectual Property Rights, technology law, banking and finance, securitization, property matters related to townships, infrastructure projects and land acquisition. He has also handled commercial contracting – domestic as well as international.
In 2005, he designed a course for ‘Law and Economics’ (Economic Analysis of Law) at Gokhale Institute, Pune (GIPE) & there after his subject was expanded to cover two semester/two papers which were titled Law & Economics I & II.
With the academic pursuit he visited many Universities & their libraries in UK, Europe, U.S. & Asia and also attended Law and Economics Conferences. He is one of the founder members of ‘Indian Association of Law and Economics’ & participated in all its conferences.

She is practicing as a lawyer since 2007 with ‘Avinash Ganu & Associates’ and has handled various legal issues in contracts- domestic and international, intellectual property rights, software and information technology, corporate, property laws – inheritance and succession planning, employment laws, media and entertainment sector, sports law sector.
She has extensively worked in the field of Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace and has helped her clients in formulating, drafting and implementing anti sexual harassment at workplace policies companies, guidance for formation of internal committees and acts as external member of the Internal Committees of many companies. She has developed modules for and conducts training sessions for employees, staff, managers & members of Internal Complaints Committee in various client companies.
She has done external LL.M. in Business Laws from University of Pune as well as Master of Business Laws and Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Laws from National Law School of India University, Bangalore while gathering the necessary practical understanding in the field. She earned her third Master’s degree with special focus on ‘Media & Health Laws’ in First Class and was one of the top scorers in her class.
She has international collaborations in many verticals and is a member of international lawyers and legal organizations like “Women in Sports Law” and “Worldwide Independent Lawyers League”.
She has been studying ‘Law and Economics’ (Economic Analysis of Law) in 2009 and completed certificate courses at Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune (GIPE) & has also started teaching the subject at GIPE since 2015. She has visited New York University, Harvard University, Emory University and University of Chicago in the USA to understand legal education system, especially the subject ‘Law and Economics’. She is member American Law and Economics Association and Indian Law and Economics Association. She has also participated in multiple annual conferences of Italian Society of Law and Economics, Polish Law and Economics Association, French Law and Economics association, Asian Law and Economics Association and European Association of Law and Economics.
She has presented her research work in the areas in many international conferences on “Law and Economics” in Greece, Italy, Poland, France, Poland, Thailand and India. She is member of ‘Indian Association of Law and Economics’ & participated in all its conferences – at IIT, Kanpur, IIM, Ahmedabad, GIPE, Pune and IIM, Bangalore.

After completion of his graduation in law, Adv. MeghApte has further completed a LL. M with First Class from Symbiosis International University in Business & Corporate Laws and Master’s Dissertation was on Competition Law with specific reference to Aviation Sector.
He has practiced in the District Court at Pune and has gained significant experience in grassroot litigation. He has gained experience in commercial litigation through his work in the National Company Law Tribunal and National Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission at Delhi. He has also gained experience in Appellate matters through his work in the Supreme Court of India and the Delhi High Court.
He has transactional expertise in the area of contract drafting, drafting dispute settlement terms, providing substantive legal opinions in commercial matters which involve complex questions of law. He believes in a result-oriented work ethic in which the end goal is speedy and efficient service being provided to the client.

After completing BSL LLB from Pune, Pratik earned his Masters of Law from the esteemed Queen Mary University of London. His key areas of research include issues like Sustainable Development and Environmental Damage Computation with regard to Indian Judiciary. He is also the head of Legal Editors at ‘Ecolawgy’ a platform for publishing research papers, scholarly articles, news and literature vis- á-vis International Environmental Law.
He has advised various clients in Enviro-Legal matters and also is empanelled advocate with Local Governing Body as the representative for the National Green Tribunal. He also has experience in property laws and has handled various types of transactions of property and documentation regarding the same.

Graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw, the University of Commerce and Law and postgraduate studies in Information Technology Law (Informationsrecht) at Heinrich-Heine Universität in Düsseldorf. Since the beginning of her career she has been responsible for comprehensive legal services for Polish and international companies. She started her career at esb Rechtsanwälte in Stuttgart, where she dealt with compliance processes in the context of federal data protection law (BDSG) and with labour law consulting for Polish and German companies. After returning to Poland she carried out projects in the field of personal data protection law, copyright and industrial property law. As an expert, she conducted training and projects on the implementation of management and data protection systems for private enterprises and State Treasury companies. Since 2013 she has been developing the Polish unit of esb Rechtsanwälte (esb Adwokaci i Radcowie Prawni – Advocates and Legal Advisors). She is the first ever person from outside Germany to be invited to become a partner. To meet the needs of clients who want to be close to their law firm, she is currently involved in developing the structure of the law firm in Poland, as well as in building the network of cooperating law firms in those foreign markets where our clients operate.
